Navigating creative services and the right providers can be overwhelming. Across agencies, on-demand resources, and independent designers, the terms and pricing are widespread.

There are a number of factors that determine the structure of a design service such as experience, availability, project scope, and the amount of overhead costs involved.

  • All projects are custom quoted based on their complexity, value, and timeframe needed, with Client budget in mind. Whether or not your project should be quoted at an hourly rate or as flat fee will be determined by Linsey Gray Creative.

    Design and development services involve significant specialization and years of experience, therefore design projects should be regarded differently than a manufactured product. Linsey Gray Creative’s rates ensure appropriate compensation for her time and expertise, as well as the value her work brings to the Client.

    Commercial Interior Design*

    Architectural Renderings

    Priced per square foot or hourly depending on rendering style (i.e. digital 3D or hand drawn), level of detail desired, and timeline.

    Visual Brand Identity

    Starting at $6,000 and determined by scope, complexity and timeline.

    Web/Digital UI Visual Design

    Starting at $3,500 and determined by scope, complexity and timeline.

    Print/Packaging

    Charged at our Standard Hourly Design Rate, or quoted as a flat fee depending on scope and volume of deliverables.

    Editorial Presentation Design

    Custom quoted based on scope, page count, timeline and other factors. Capabilities and experience include but are not limited to: cover art, custom graphics and visual data representation, advertisement design, editorial page layout, investor pitch deck, digital slides, press and media kits.

    Custom Artwork + Surface Pattern Design

    Quoted on a per project basis.

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days. After 30 days, Linsey Gray Creative reserves the right to re-quote the project.

    Quotes are for creative services only. No fabrication, installation, nor execution are included.

    After Client consultation and adequate information gathering, please allow up to 10 business days for basic pricing estimates, and up to 14 business days for formal proposals.

    Scope and deliverables outlined in proposal are not guaranteed until quote is accepted and the Designer/Client contract is signed.

  • With the exception of consultations and some proposal presentations, all communication from inquiry to project completion should remain in writing via email or Google Drive/File markups. No text or social media messaging.

    Currently, Linsey Gray Creative is only offering consultations via phone or Zoom, unless an in-person meeting is critical to your project, such as a site visit for environmental graphics or architectural design.

    Calls
    Linsey Gray Creative does not accept unscheduled phone or zoom calls. Please reach out via email to schedule a call at our earliest availability. Phone and Zoom calls beyond initial consultation and proposal will be charged the hourly consultation rate unless otherwise agreed upon in Client/Designer contract.

    Emails
    In order to maintain the level of focus needed for creative work and out of respect to other client calls in progress, Linsey Gray Creative will only check emails 2x per day. Please allow 3-5 business days for any email response. If urgent, please note as such in the subject line of your email and an effort will be made to respond as soon as possible.

  • Linsey Gray Creative's working days are Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays. Phone and Zoom calls available by appointment only. Please submit all call requests to hello@linseygray.com - no texts or social media messaging please.

    Linsey Gray Creative makes all reasonable efforts to provide concepts and revisions to the Client within the timeframes agreed upon in initial consultations. If we are experiencing higher work volumes, your design will be scheduled for the soonest available design time slot, and you will be notified at the earliest possible time.

    Linsey Gray Creative will save design files to Google Drive for Client review. The Client will provide feedback on the design proof.

    Linsey Gray Creative will review feedback and update the design as needed. Linsey Gray Creative will continue the revision process within the specified terms to the Client’s satisfaction. Revisions will be submitted to the Client within the specified timeframe where possible. Each revision phase will require the Client's approval via email or signature within the design proof file.

    Once the Client has approved the design, the Client will pay any remaining balance owed to Linsey Gray Creative, after which Linsey Gray Creative will deliver the final file(s).

    Final formats (excluding native design files) of the approved design will be saved to Google Drive for the Client to download. Clients must download and privately store their files within 90 days of delivery. Linsey Gray Creative is not responsible for maintaining an archive of Client files. Download links are subject to expire after 90 days of delivery.

    Native design files are not included in service packages unless otherwise agreed upon in Designer / Client contract. Native design files can be purchased for 150% of the cost of service for that specific project.

    Licensed content such as fonts and stock art will be added to the remaining balance invoice. The need to purchase licensed content will be clearly communicated with the Client for approval before any purchase is made.

  • Please review all design proofs carefully to avoid any errors (spelling, wrong information, etc.) on all items. Each revision phase will require approval signature from the Client. The Client's approval releases Linsey Gray Creative from all responsibility for errors and omissions on all items.

    Any and all revision requests, updates, corrections, additions or variations must be furnished to Linsey Gray Creative in writing. Revisions may be discussed verbally, however no work will be done until the Client submits their revisions in writing by email or within the shared design proof.

    Unless otherwise agreed, Linsey Gray Creative will complete one large revision stage, and two minor revision stages. Revision requests are to be made within 14 business days of receiving the proofs. If no revisions are requested within this timeframe, or there is no communication/request from Client to place project on hold, it is assumed that the submitted proof is the accepted final. Any request for revisions made after this point are subject to a rescheduling fee to secure the remainder of the project within Linsey’s next availability.

    The total project quote or rate provided by Linsey Gray Creative includes a reasonable average or specified number of revisions per design item, and associated number of billable hours. On the occasion the Client requests drafts or revisions that go beyond the scope of the original quote or rate, Linsey Gray Creative reserves the right to charge an additional hourly rate upon informing the Client that the request will incur an additional cost.

  • All quotes given are estimates only, unless otherwise negotiated and noted in writing on a Client contract. Assuming no changes to scope have been made by the client over the course of the project, the final invoice will not exceed the quoted amount by a margin of more than 5% without prior notification and written authorization by the Client.

    Deposits and Payments
    Projects quoted with a flat rate less than $3,000 are to be paid in full before project work commences. Projects quoted with a flat rate greater than $3,000 will require 50% deposit to begin work; The remaining balance is to be paid following a payment schedule with final payment submitted prior to delivery of any final design files. All work remains the property of Linsey Gray Creative until final payment is received. Client may not use or distribute any works until paid for in full.

    Online Payments
    Payments may be made online in a number of ways via Linsey Gray Creative's invoice link:

    • Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard)

    • PayPal

    Checks are also accepted. Final deliverables will not be delivered until check has been received. If paying by check, please make it out to Linsey Gray Puckett and mail to address provided on invoice.

    Late Fees
    All invoices are due upon receipt and/or their due date and are considered late after 30 days. 10% of any outstanding balance will be added to all late invoices, and will accrue every 30 days it goes unpaid.​

    Refunds
    Refunds or exchange of services are not offered by Linsey Gray Creative.

    Cancellations
    Client can cancel a project at any time, however, the deposit is non-refundable. Because Linsey reserved time within her schedule to take on your project, therefore potentially turning down other projects during that timeline, a minimum of 50% of any remaining balance will be owed by the Client at the time of the Client’s project cancelation request and must be paid in full upon receipt.

    Incomplete Projects
    A project shall be considered incomplete if it remains in proofing or is put on hold by the Client for more than 30 business days and the Client has communicated such request in writing to Linsey Gray Creative. Prompt communication of request exempts Client from being charged a Resume Fee. Projects put on hold will be billed for any time spent on it up to that point (beyond what was covered in the deposit). When client is prepared to restart the project, they must wait for Linsey Gray Creative's next availability and pay any remaining balance owed before project resumes.

    Abandoned Projects
    A project shall be considered abandoned after 60 consecutive business days have passed since the last communication received from the Client. Client will not have any rights to use any of the work that was presented to them during the process. In all abandoned projects, deposits are forfeit without option for reclamation. Any renewal of the project after termination will require a new agreement, quote, fee schedule, and deposit.

    Retainer Fees
    Linsey Gray Creative takes on a select number of monthly retainer clients with rates ranging from $65 - $85 per hour (5 hour per month minimum) and based on 6-month and 12-month terms. The full monthly amount will be billed according to an agreed upon schedule, regardless of any unused hours. Unused hours cannot accrue throughout the contract terms. Timely communication about work needed throughout a retainer contract is critical. Timeline and communication expectations will be outlined in each contract. Retainer contracts can be terminated at any time by Client or Designer with a minimum of 30 days notice. If the Client terminates a retainer contract with less than 30 days notice, the Client will be billed the next month's balance.

  • Linsey Gray Creative provides custom creative services and makes every possible effort to ensure designs are original and clearly, legally distinct. If a design unintentionally infringes on existing trademarks, Linsey Gray Creative’s liability is limited to free revision of the design to make it legally distinct, or the provision of a paid new design, as negotiated with the Client.

    The Client unconditionally guarantees that any design element – text, graphic, image – provided to Linsey Gray Creative for inclusion in the design does not violate any copyright or trademark laws. Linsey Gray Creative will not be held responsible for any legal action that may result from improper due diligence on the availability of a name, phrase or image. The Client will hold harmless and protect Linsey Gray Creative from any claim arising from the use of content furnished by the Client.

    Linsey Gray Creative retains the right to display designs in portfolios, on our website and across social media platforms unless exclusion is explicitly requested and agreed upon in writing with the Client.

  • By using the Linsey Gray Creative website and/or engaging in business with Linsey Gray Creative, you consent to the terms specified above. Linsey Gray Creative reserves the right to modify these Policies + Procedures at any time.

    This web page will reflect the latest Policies + Procedures. In the event there is a discrepancy between a digital or printed version of these Policies + Procedures and this web page, the Policies + Procedures on this web page take precedence.

    In the event that a Client’s Policies + Procedures conflict with those outlined here, this web page shall be considered to be the authoritative one, unless a separate contract has been negotiated and signed between Linsey Gray Creative and the Client.
